Tamalpa Institute - Movement-based Expressive Arts

A Guide To Being a Team Leader Connect, Inspire, Give Back – Join us in raising money for ArtCorps

Step One: Creating your own sub-fundraising page

  • Go to Tamalpa’s fundraising page using this link: Tamalpa Crowdrise and click ‘Fundraise for this campaign’. Crowdrise will ask you to sign up with either your information or your Facebook information.
  • Click ‘Edit Fundraiser’. From this point you’ll be able to personalize your message, upload videos and photos, and share!

Tips about personalizing your page:

  • You can keep it simple by creating a short introduction about why you’re supporting Tamalpa’s cause and then just copy & paste our mission statement (See below) right onto your own page.
  • Share photos of your moments at Tamalpa!

Step Two: Reaching out to your community

All you need to do now is send your fundraiser link to your friends and family and ask them to give starting November 22nd at 12pm ET. Let people know how personal and powerful Tamalpa is to you and how it has changed your life.

Tamalpa will be sending emails kick starting and throughout the campaign which you will be able to forward to friends. It's that easy and it makes a huge difference. Remember your peers in your training program!

  • Social Media

Share your sub page on your Facebook with all of your friends! Keep them updated on how your campaign is doing!

Remind those looking at your page, that every donation makes a difference, no matter how large or small!

If you have any comments, ideas or questions about our CrowdRise Campaign, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you so much!
